Founder, Producer & Mix Engineer – Studio Chaddy (Melbourne)
Jeremy Chua is a Melbourne-based music producer and mix engineer specialising in indie folk and alternative music. Across more than a decade in the studio, he has worked on hundreds of records, with music he has produced, mixed and mastered accumulating millions of streams and individual releases crossing the million-stream mark. His work has also appeared on internationally broadcast television, including CBS’s NCIS: Los Angeles.
As the founder of Studio Chaddy, Jeremy has helped shape the sound of independent and signed artists including Scenery, SHONN, Keri Sreb, Selina Wolff, Januu, Berrohn and Palace of the People. Projects he has worked on have received recognition from publications including Time Out and Bandwagon Asia.
At the centre of Jeremy’s approach is his ability to translate what an artist hears and feels internally into a fully realised record. By going deeper than references and surface-level production choices, he helps artists articulate the story, emotions and creative world behind their music, then transforms that vision into an intentional sound that feels distinctly their own.
Known for blending organic instrumentation with modern alternative textures, Jeremy works as both collaborator and curator. He helps artists move beyond producing isolated songs and shape singles, EPs and albums into cohesive bodies of work, carrying their vision from its earliest creative foundations through to the final master.
Having worked with artists across almost 60 countries, Jeremy has built an international reputation for his musical intuition, emotional attention to detail and ability to make what exists in an artist’s head finally feel tangible.
